Elections and Nominations

Nominations for all Executive Committee, Steward, and Trustee positions are opening tonight, January 25, at the Winter Membership Meeting.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the campaign and election process whether you are running for a position or voting. We’re hoping to see more member participation this year! Keep a lookout in your email for information about a candidates forum to be held in February.

Some things to know:

1. The timeline for all aspects of the election (i.e. nominations, campaigning, and voting)

2.  The sections of our new bylaws related to the election. The full set of bylaws require some minor changes and cannot be uploaded in their entirety, but these sections have been accepted and approved by CUPE National.

Nomination forms must be received by February 5, 2016. Forms can be dropped off to the elections official (or designated) by setting an appointment or emailed to elections@cupe3913.on.ca.
